Michael Till has been appointed as Senior Mineralogist-Asbestos by AEC Environmental.

Michael completed a B.Sc. (Hons) degree in Petrology from Flinders University in 1974. He has over thirty years’ experience as a mineralogist, principally using microscopy and X-ray diffraction techniques to identify minerals and crystalline synthetic substances. He has been a NATA-registered signatory for asbestos identification since 1984 and is South Australia’s leading scientist in the field of asbestos identification.

Nata Accreditation

It is with great pleasure to announce that AEC were recently notified of their successful achievement of NATA accreditation in the field of ‘Chemical Testing’.

New Darwin Office

AEC commenced in Darwin in May 2007, moved to new expanded premises late last year and currently has a staff of 5.The office is involved in asbestos assessment and management, environmental assessment and management, occupational hygiene and risk assessment. AEC Environmental continued to develop its services because significant opportunities are present in the NT.

In order to take advantage and provide a local service to Territorians, AEC has committed to building its locally staffed operation. Our philosophy for doing business is for local staff to talk with local clients. AEC Darwin staff are supported by our head office in Adelaide and with additional support from Greencap - National presence Local solutions.

UDIA Awards
